Springfield, MA-Senior Travis Drappi (West Orange, NJ) went undefeated with a 5-0 mark to win the 133 lbs. weight class as the Rhode Island College wrestling team placed 12th at the Doug Parker Invitational hosted by Springfield College on Saturday afternoon.
RIC totaled 57 points. Brockport won the 18-team field with a score of 102.5.
Junior Mike Trasso (Lyndhurst, NJ) placed third at 141 lbs., going 6-1 to raise his overall record to a team-best 10-1.
RIC is off for Thanksgiving and will resume competition when the Anchormen travel to Plymouth State on Dec. 1 for a dual meet.
