Williamsport, Penn.-Senior Mike Trasso (Lyndhurst, NJ), sophomore Kevin Barrucci (Burlington, MA) and freshman Robert Sotelo (Little Falls, NJ) each earned decisions, but the Rhode Island College wrestling team dropped a 29-9 match to York (PA) at the Budd Whitehill Duals, hosted by Lycoming.
Rhode Island College quickly fell into a 10-0 hole with losses in its first three bouts. Trasso got the Anchormen going in the right direction with a 6-5 win over junior Chris Gugliotti (Swoyersville, PA). Barrucci followed with a 7-4 win over T.J. Demetrio (Pottstown, PA) and Sotelo downed sophomore Trent Bond (Carlisle, PA).
