No Gi - All, No Gi - Single Leg Defense
Back in 2018, Frank Chamizo & Jordan Burroughs went toe-to-toe at Beat The Streets: Team USA vs. The World All-Stars event in New York City. Early in the first period, Burroughs snatches up a single leg and Chamizo turns his back, puts his hands to the mat, and looks like he is going to give Jordan an easy 2 points. As Jordan proceeds to casually cover the hips and complete the takedown though, he falls into Chamizo's trap and is surprised with a premeditated switch. Chamizo uses this switch to transfer Jordan's weight, lift the single leg, and finish to earn another 2 points. Michael demonstrates the switch from referees position, explains how Frank set this up, and gives a tip on this exact scenario in a Jiu Jitsu match.
